About Me

Žiga is a Slovenian photographer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. While his background is in fashion photography, in recent years he has developed a deep passion for capturing interiors and travel. What draws him to these fields is the constant variety and inspiration they bring, as every project offers a new story, space, and atmosphere to explore through the lens.

Žiga’s love for photography began in the early 2000s when his dad bought him his first digital camera. That moment sparked a lifelong fascination with image-making. After finishing high school in 2007, he studied at Arthouse College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and graduated in 2011. Žiga has been working as a professional photographer since 2008.

Driven by curiosity and creativity, he has travelled the world in search of new perspectives, people, and places to capture. At the end of 2015, he found his home in Dubai, where he continues to collaborate with leading international magazines such as Vogue, Architectural Digest, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, GQ, Marie Claire, and Grazia.
